HOME / Preparing For Your Visit
.
We focus on both the root causes and the presenting symptoms of your concerns, empowering you to take an active role in your health journey. With the right approach, you can restore and optimize your health—short-term, medium-term, and long-term.
We assess your physical and emotional health, lifestyle, diet, exercise habits, and goal
After evaluating your needs, we craft a therapeutic strategy using a combination of treatments to address the root cause of your concerns and relieve symptoms.
Possible modalities include acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, far-infrared light, electrical stimulation, Gua Sha, nutritional guidance, and lifestyle counseling—all included in your consultation fee.
Depending on your health plan, we may recommend lab tests, imaging, herbal medicine, targeted supplements, IV therapy, or regenerative injections. These can be ordered, provided, or referred to trusted specialists as part of your integrative care plan.
Your journey to improved health and wellness begins with thoughtful preparation. To ensure we provide the best care possible,
Complete Your Medical History Form:
Upon scheduling your appointment, you’ll receive a comprehensive medical history form. Take your time filling it out, as it allows us to thoroughly understand your current health, history, and goals.
Bring Relevant Records:
Include recent blood work, imaging results, and a list of current medications and supplements in your medical history.
Upload these documents securely via our patient portal or bring quality copies to your appointment.
Special Notes:
Avoid brushing your tongue before your visit. The color and texture of your tongue coating are valuable diagnostic clues. If you routinely brush your tongue, let your practitioner know, as persistent bad breath may indicate an imbalance.
Have a light snack. Avoid arriving with a very empty or overly full stomach for your treatment.
Refrain from alcohol, recreational drugs, and caffeine before and after treatment (prescription medications are fine).
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to make treatment more accessible and comfortable.
Avoid vigorous activity two hours before and after acupuncture or other therapies.
